My previous education includes 2 years of clinical psychology graduate study at Pepperdine University in Los Angeles, and undergraduate studies in Person-Centered Therapy at the Metanoia Institute in London.
I have extensive experience of working in the child / adolescent and adult partial hospitalization programs at Immanuel Medical Center and previously on their level III school program. I have worked as a clinical intern in the Dept. of Family Medicine at UNMC, both in the Durham Outpatient Center and at the SONA clinic in South Omaha, as well as clinics in Lincoln, Nebraska; London; and rural Southern England. More recently, I have worked on the adult inpatient service as part of the original start-up team at the Lasting Hope Recovery Center, in downtown Omaha.
I am a full clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (www.aamft.org) and have sat on the board of the Nebraska Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (www.nebraskamft.org) and I am a recent past-president of the Association of Private Practice Therapists (www.privatepractice.org).
